4.3 Legal Requirements for Translation Services

Under UAE law, documents intended for use in government departments or courts must be translated by translators or translation firms registered with the UAE Ministry of Justice; otherwise, they may not be accepted. We ensure that:

5. Service Process

We reserve the right to decline any request that falls outside our capabilities or policies.

5.2 Delivery Methods

  • Electronic Delivery (Default) : Translations are sent via email in PDF, Word, or other agreed formats
  • Physical Delivery (Optional) : Printed and stamped versions can be arranged for courier delivery or in-store collection
  • All completed translations are delivered through secure channels

5.3 Delivery Timeframe

  • Turnaround times are estimated based on word count, language pair, and complexity
  • Standard document translations are typically completed within the agreed timeframe
  • Urgent/expedited requests may incur additional charges
  • We will notify clients as soon as possible of any delays due to unforeseen circumstances

5.4 Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must ensure that submitted source documents are clear, complete, and legible
  • Clients are responsible for reviewing and providing feedback on the translation within the agreed period (typically within 3 working days of delivery)
  • Clients must ensure the legality and compliance of the translation’s intended use

6. Payment Policy

6.1 Fee Confirmation

  • Translation fees are confirmed at the quotation stage and include translation, proofreading, and standard formatting
  • Expedited service, legal certification (Ministry of Justice attestation), and additional copies will incur separate charges

6.2 Payment Methods

  • Full Advance Payment : Typically required before translation work commences
  • Bank transfer, online payment, or cash are accepted
  • Final translated documents will be released upon payment confirmation

6.3 VAT

  • Translation services are subject to the UAE standard 5% VAT rate
  • All invoices are VAT-compliant in accordance with UAE tax regulations

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

8. Warranty Conditions

8.1 Translation Quality Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of all completed translation work. We will correct free of charge any translation that contains:

  • Translation errors (mistranslations, omissions)
  • Serious grammatical or spelling mistakes
  • Formatting issues that affect usability

8.2 Warranty Period

  • Requests for corrections due to quality issues must be submitted within 30 days of final delivery
  • Corrections beyond this period for final versions already approved by the client will not be accepted

8.3 What is Covered

8.4 What is Not Covered

  • ❌ Errors, ambiguities, or omissions in the source document provided by the client
  • ❌ Subjective stylistic modifications or changes requested by the client
  • ❌ Any consequences arising from the client’s use of the translation (e.g., rejection by third parties, legal repercussions)

8.5 Special Note on Certified Translations

  • For documents intended for use in UAE courts, government departments, or official institutions, we recommend confirming certification requirements in advance
  • Ministry of Justice certification requires separate arrangements with additional fees and time
  • We can assist clients in completing the necessary certification processes (e.g., legal attestation, notarization) upon request

9. Privacy & Confidentiality Policy

  • All client-submitted documents and information are kept strictly confidential
  • We do not share client information with third parties except as required by law or with explicit client consent
